Edited to answer the owners reply - none of us used the restroom and didn’t just go in there to sit down. We did try to order but he refused to serve us just one menu of the day and said we had to order at least two. The whole point of this review was that he refused to serve us.

Do not come here! The customer service was shocking!

Came here with two of my friends, we weren’t that hungry so wanted to order menu of the day to share.

I assume the guy serving us was the owner. We told him that we just wanted to share it and his demeanour quickly changed and said that we couldn’t order one and share. He got angry, told us we can’t just order that and took our menu away.

We were shocked and couldn’t believe what just happened and we’re going to leave. He comes back with menus and said we need to order at least two. We said no, we just want one and he refused to let us order just that. Me and my friend told him that it’s very bad customer service and can’t tell us what we can eat.

We left and then took a photo of the outside and he came marching out asking us why we were taking pictures. We told him we’re allowed and he walked back inside. We then started talking to a customer outside and he again matched out asking us what we’re doing. We are allowed to talk to anyone we want.

If you’re near the train station and are wondering what to eat- don’t even question it just take a left and walk in.

It’s funny how unexpectedly amazing this meal was. My mom and i had missed out train and wanted a good lunch and some needed vino before we boarded. After eating this meal I realize missing our train was a blessing in disguise.

The Samosas -particularly the vegetable ones were heaven sent. So packed with flavor and veggies, the three sauces that came with it were individual matches in heaven.

The lunch special is as one you can’t beat- chicken/veggie/prawn curry with naan and steamed rice for 8 euros.

The flavors! The aromas! The amazing quality of the food was beyond expected!!

And to top it off the woman taking care of us, Puja, the owner was beyond awesome. She really made us feel at home, liked her family cooked just for us. With bountiful Portuguese wines, crazy amazing Indian food, and a comfy atmosphere it was almost meant for us to miss our train in order to...

So embarrassed to our visitor from the UK. So proud of the Portuguese people, food and culture. We took our visitor to Indian Tandoori since she was craving Indian food. We sat down. My wife and I were not hungry and decided to order the menu of the day just to try if it was good. If we like it, then we will order more. Believe it or not. The server was upset and refused to serve us because we order only 1 dish. He grabbed the menus and told us it cannot be done. Traveled all over the world...and never have we experienced this. The Indian server with the pouty lip was rude and confrontational. He even followed us outside the restaurant. Very rude and disrespectful. Be careful. Hope this will never happen to...
