Unfortunately I've had a bad experience at this place. While checking the menu I noticed a bacalhau à lagareiro with oven baked potatoes and something else that I couldn't quite recognise so I asked the lady who was registering my order, who told me it was cabbage, so I ordered it. I also asked if it would be better to order a dessert straight away in case they would run out of desserts after I had finish my lunch, but she said it would be safe to wait and I trusted her. 40 minutes later my bacalhau à lagareiro arrived with a salad instead of cabbage... I had to ask them what was going on because nobody cared to explain why I was being served something I didn't order... They had no more cabbage after all but I wasn't offered an alternative, instead I've been served a regular salad which I don't like. I chose not to order anything else as I feared it would take another 40 min to arrive, so I ate the cod (which was sadly unsalted) and the potatoes which were (thankfully) very tasty. Later on when I finished my meal there were no desserts left.... Resuming, the only good thing about my experience at this place were the oven...

This is by far one of the best restaurants around, we came here the first time we came and we keep coming back, Micaela and the team are absolutely excellent they are really accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, as we are from the UK we appreciate good food and this place really lives up to it, we will definitely be back, it’s nice to have a place to bring people and you know that it’s going to be a good experience, burgers and kebabs cooked perfectly 5* every time 👌👌👌

(Clearly some reviews on here written by spiteful competitors, all the meat is cooked and if you want well done of course you can get that, never been ill or anything...

A pleasantly enforced break whilst my motorbike was being mended locally meant this was my go to every evening for a week.

Staff were first class, spoke good English and remembered my nightly drink when I arrived.

The restaurant adjoined opened at seven each evening and offered a good varied menu mostly under ten euros.

I had an excellent burger and relish, pizza and calzone and even a steak with potatoes and cabbage - all were excellent.

Although there not a lot of choice in Serta this establishment offered the best choice and value.

Outside seating next to the river completed...
