Although the food is good (but with prices a bit above average for the region) and the staff always ready to help and very professional. Be very careful when parking outside the restaurant because the Owners (Restaurant) are aware of the high number of car damage (to steal stuff out) mainly on special holidays (local people and the Police confirmed it when I filed a report), but do nothing to warn guests having Lunch or Dinner there. Just to prove they do know it, they pay a person to watch out for the cars on Saturdays and Sundays. Unfortunately I was there last Friday 30/03/2018 (Holiday, but no person looking) and at least two car owners were "gratified" with hundreds of Euros damage while having Lunch (I was one of the unlucky - and no, no valued properties were at a line of sight). The amazing service can t overpass our expérience of the food. One of our worst expérience in Portugal, and my husband is portuguese. Frango do caril : the chichen was not good, the sauce doesn t exist, the rice was heat again so really dry. My husband took the javali that had no taste, the sauce was made with garlic in powder. Even the potatoes were too Cook, full of water and without any taste. We didn t push our Luck and didn t order a dessert. I Hope it was because it was totally full and unexpected for them. Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Portugal, our 2nd visit and as good as the first. Large portions and very reasonable prices. Cooked to perfection and a variety of dishes not seen elsewhere. They rotate the menu regularly so there is always something different. We had the cover, 7then the two famous starters, then cod fish with prawns, rabbit with clams, could not finish either, served with chips, salad and spinach, one banofee desert, one water, one bottle alentejo wine Total bill euro 47.60.
