PIZZERIA CALIFORNIA — Restaurant in Silves

The location is great. Plenty of parking on the nearby parking lot (paid, but 2eur for the day, what else can you ask for?) and you're lunching/dining right in the beach front!!!

The pizzas are amazing. More on the American kind of pizza, rather than Italian. Very tasty, not extra greasy like a lot of places. Right amount of crust vs. sauce/contents.

The price is great considering the amount and the quality of the food. Definitely coming again this week.

The staff is super friendly, caring for your well being and very attentive. Don't let the "strange name" keep you from coming here, and don't think it's a "kids targeted" kind of place.

I wish more pizza places had this quality at this...

We stumbled across this little gem on a recent visit to Portugal and are so sad that we didn't find it sooner!

We were 2 families of 4 adults and 3 children yet we all quickly found something on the menu to our liking. We all opted for the tourist deal which was a starter, main, dessert, small drink and tea/coffee.

The food was absolutely beautiful! We were surprised at just how much there was, the portions were huge!

Nothing was too much for the lady serving us, and we genuinely couldn't thank her enough for making our visit so welcoming and relaxed.

Complete chaos when we arrived. 4 Waiters, and all of them try to do the same job at once. No coordination. Then, we asked to sit at a specific table which was free. But no, we got assigned the worst seats in the house, right by the door. Then, after waiting 20 minutes, we finally got to order. The starters came, but no plates. Then, the mains came. They got 1 out of 2 orders wrong, and my girlfriend had to eat without me. A while after she got done eating, my food came. Overall a terrible experience, and wouldn't advice anyone...
