Long story short: the works experience in Portugal we've ever had.
In more detail: the service was extremely slow. Despite the restaurant not being busy and having plenty of staff, we waited far too long for menus, drinks, and food.
We ordered several dishes: The shrimps were okay. The French fries were barely fried and almost raw. The mixed salad was disappointing, just salad leaves with tomatoes and onions, without any salt, pepper, or dressing. The Portuguese sausage was the best dish of the evening. The codfish with fries had decent fish, but the fries were undercooked, as mentioned earlier. The tenderloin steak was okay, but they forgot the order, so I had to wait while everyone else have already finished their meals.
Additionally, at the beginning of the evening, we asked the waitress to take away the snacks they had placed on the table (olives, cheese, bread, butter), but they still charged us for them. After pointing this out, they removed the charge without even apologizing.
For the bill 25-30 pp this is not what we expected. I wouldn't recommend this...
Read moreI recently visited this place and ordered their delightful Grill fish with veggies . Not only was the fish absolutely delicious, but the ambiance of the restaurant was also cool and inviting. However, my dining experience took an unexpected turn when a waitress suddenly approached our table and took the fish away, despite us still enjoying our meal. It was quite disappointing to have our food prematurely taken away, especially when there were clear indications that we were still eating. We request her for takeaway , She was in hurry we dont know how can she ask to clear the table as she could she we were still eating and there is still the dish remaining on the table, She gave only one small take away container to put inside fish , Veggie , and potatotes so we pack potatoes in plastic bag as there was no space on the takeaway box, Overall, although the initial fish dish was enjoyable and the environment pleasing, the incident with the waitress left a sour taste...
Read moreIt's a nice and one of the few traditional types of restaurants in that area. Usually in this region the prices are 25 to 30€ per person.
We spent 10€ less per person because we went to the meat dishes otherwise with fish dishes it could be a bit more expensive but still cheaper than the other restaurants.
The personnel is very friendly and helpful. There was a nice view of the ocean and the food tasted well.
Unfortunately there were no sardines and the previous menu was from 2 years ago which is outdated. I took some pictures of the new...
