If you're into wine and want more than just a typical experience, you must go to Aura Wines. For starters, they do weekly wine tastings with the wine producers which was a really fun experience with a packed house and some very unique Alentejo wines.

But the "real" experience for us was when we went back the next day. It was then that the real expertise of Joäo and Manuel. We told them what we were looking for by the glass and the recommendation was spot on. We then ended up spending a few hours there - chatting, eating, and challenging them to recommend other unique wines from their large collection of wines from all over Portugal.
