Nice one among the tourist trap area 🍀
✓ Good quality of the fish but the meat wasn't so good. 🐟
✓ Frozen chips but good quality ones.
✓ Bathroom was clean and with soap!
✓ Great service minus the time.
x The bread tasted like "opened yesterday", that really disappointed me.
x Comparing many typical Portuguese restaurants they didn't serve as much garnish as it should be.
x It took them almost 1 hour to cook 4 dishes with just 3-4 tables occupied. My soup arrived fast but as the main dish came 40 Min later my stomach was already "closed". 👎
x Pricey comparing to those better quality and more traditional restaurants on the other side of the river 💶
Still being critic it was a nice place having Portuguese feeling, I'd come back in case my favourite...

In the end was nothing of traditional nor fusion – polvo frito à algarvia comes in a sweat creamy sauce (?!), polvo “à bras” a disaster, pataniscas de polvo a disaster, even a simple salada de polvo was at a deficient ratio of green stuff with the octopus: all a mix of the wrong ingredients and flavors. To the same effect, empty tables are left dirty and uncleared, preventing people from seating themselves. Terrible, unambitious and unwelcoming attitude for a place that's mediocre at best. Went on to a competitor two streets away, where I was warmly greeted and welcomed with open arms, and served an excellent meal, even after 9PM. Mind you, google lists 11PM as closing time...
