Visited the place during summer season and we booked a table beforehand, it’s best to do this. We were welcomed by the staff, first impression was good and the space is elegant. The menu, seems to be seasonal and has a lot of local products. Was recommended fish as dish of the day. But we went for Portuguese duck and rice, and for a starter the brisa salad. Whilst that may not seem like an exciting choice, duck rice and salad, the quality of the products and the twist the chef gave to both made for outstanding dishes. The simplicity and high end standards its must try*, my palate was met by a substantial amount of flavour …. For sure a place to return, also they have a great choice of wine, and a professional staff that will help make the experience quite outstanding

Very delicious food and good service. Thank you very much to the sommelier for the recommendations. The really good food matched very well with the sometimes bold drinks. Interesting drink I can recommend, if you don’t want to drink alcohol, is the kombucha. We had for food the oysters, gazpacho for starters, the tofu and the catch of the day for main, and the chocolate mousse and cheese as dessert - we can recommend everything.

Bravo!

The dishes were great, the pumpkin soup in particular was very tasty. Unfortunately the experience was soured by unprofessional management: We had reserved a table for 21:30. Despite arriving on time, we were left waiting for over 60 minutes with no explanation or apology. When we asked about the delay, the manager responded with a lot of hostility. When it was time to pay, we asked to split the bill into about 12 payments — which is a normal request in most modern restaurants ( I worked in many restaurants and splitting dishes or drinks using custom percentages — for example, assigning 30% of a bottle of wine to one person and 70% to another — or allocating specific items to individual bills is a standard feature in most point-of-sale systems used in restaurants). The manager reacted with visible irritation, claiming it would take him “30 minutes” to process - which is untrue. He then proceeded to speak rudely to several members of our group, raising his voice and adopting an aggressive tone that was entirely out of line.

It’s a shame because the kitchen is doing great work, but this front-of-house management makes it difficult to...

Exquisite dining experience from appetizer to dessert. The delicately dressed salad made with tender lettuce leaves, pickled radish and almonds was a great starter as were the oysters. Our main dishes further elevated our dining experience with perfectly cooked sirloin steak served with fluffy mashed potatoes and sautéed greens. The creamy á brás style glasswort proved to be a fantastic vegetarian option. For dessert, the rice pudding topped with ice cream and meringue was beyond satisfying yet surprisingly light. Oh and did I...
