Restaurante & Bar Maré Alta Santa Luzia — Restaurant in Tavira

On our day trip to tavira, and after an afternoon on the beach, we found this restaurant on google maps. We were looking for sardines… in summary we loved the food that they served. However, a few things to point out that we didn’t appreciate about this place: 1- the atmosphere: we had very loud people around us. Just too much. And mosquitoes were abundant. We couldn’t enjoy sitting there. 2- they served on the table, bread and multiple accompaniments that we didn’t ask for. It is true we didn’t return them, but eventually they summed to more than 6 euros, which is a rip off. 3– the service was bad. We were waiting to be seated when we arrived. No one looked at us. In general the food was unimpressive. Fried cuttlefish was dry and lacked flavor, and the many appetizers we tried were okay but not great (octopus and tuna based).
