Snack-bar O Nuno — Restaurant in Tavira

Wow, this place is great! We were looking for a place to have lunch as we strolled along the boardwalk/water. Near the end we saw a sign directing us to O Numo. 100mt around the corner in a lovey alley we found this shaded terras with overhanging plants and flowers form neighbouring gardens. As this is not a place a lot of tourist come to find the staff greeted us in Portugese instead of English. They we so welcoming and service was with a real real. We ordered Amêijoas, Boqueirão fritar, Conquilhas, Salada Polvo and a great bottle of Planalto. What a feast is was! We dove right in a before we knew it we eat everything and didn’t make any pictures.

I absolutely love snack-bar o Nuno we first came here because there was a tv to watch a euro football game but we came back three more times because the food, the service and the atmosphere is excellent. If you come to Santa Luzia you have to try this restaurant. The waiters are very kind, we came at 9:35 when the kitchen closes at 9:30 they still let us order and even though the restaurant closed at 10 they again let us stay until 11 without rushing us or anything. We had a nice late lunch at Nuno, with a very friendly welcome, sitting outside. The restaurant was well visited, there is a second floor with outside Terrace available. After checking the menu, we ordered and I visited the very clean bathroom to wash my hands. Overall the owner/staff is very engaged, you can feel it.
