As batatas fritas estavam fabulosas.
A comida estava absolutamente deliciosa.
We have been searching for a good place for brunch for a long time. We found this by chance on friday. The lady was very friendly and warned us they were very busy (It was Navy Day) and it could be 40 minutes before we got our food. We decided to leave as we were hungry, but looking at the other uninspiring menus nearby, we came back ten minutes later because we really wanted brunch. We expected to wait a long time, but the food arrived a few minutes after our drinks. We had eggs benedict, one with salmon and one with bacon, and a falafel wrap, and chips. The chips were fabulous. In most places the chips are cooked from frozen, and are terrible.
Then for dessert, two brownisu, and one tarte tatin. The food was absolutely delicious. My apologies that I didn't take a picture, but I was too busy stuffing my face with the wonderful food! It was fresh, tasty, with perfectly cooked runny eggs. You would be surprised how many chefs can't poach an egg correctly! This was the best brunch I have ever had in Portugal and we will come back again. The staff were lovely and helpful, with big smiles. This is a very pleasant change to the usual level of service and care. I wish them the best of luck with their restaurant, and we will see...

And don’t even think about leaving without trying the frappé moka—it’s rich, refreshing, and the perfect finish to your meal.
Don’t hesitate—Luma is absolutely worth it. A true standout run by people who genuinely care about what they do. Highly, highly...
Read moreFood is good. The sandwiches are not the standard ones that you find in Portugal even if they are standards elsewhere. They're also well done. Pricing is also not standard for the Portuguese culture. You're going to pay extra for these well done, but not standard for Portugal sandies. If you are feeling a hankering for good fries and a club or pulled pork and don't mind pay 12 eur then good. Honestly, a great bifana or nailed steak sandie is just as good or maybe better at half the price elsewhere. So really consider if you want the price tag. You're paying US pricing for this food, but if you are hankering for great for that's uncommon in Portugal, you can't go...
