Last year we finished the first part of our Camino de Santiago in Viana and ate at O Marquês during our stay. This year we came back to Viana to start the second stage of our walk, and so visited O Marquês again. This is a lovely locals' restaurant with good food and excellent service, and at incredible value for the lunch menu. O Marquês is a perfect place for us and we very much recommend it.

The food was so-so at best. The fries had no salt, the cod was dry and tasteless. The cabrito seemed to be ok (if we ignore the saltless potatoes there too).
