Coming from Lisbon by autocaravana in a one week trip this was the best meal in Portugal so far. Service was a little awkward. What let us uncomfortable is that I asked for a table and the attendant looked very confused, like frozen. I then asked if it was open or was only under reservation and she then said no, choose any table. Then a guy dropped the menu and left. Then when he passed by again in a hurry I asked him about the day special and there was none. Then later another person came by and told us as they would be in holiday from next day hence there was unavailable dishes which was like 1/4 of the menu. There was also no salad plate available. If you haven’t been here yet… GO!! This family owned and run gem has DELICIOUS, soul nurturing food. I usually get the Prato do dia. It’s always fabulous!! My favorite is the lemon risotto with the yummiest white fish on top. Tonight however I’m having the black risotto with salmon. Oh my gosh! It’s SO GOOD!!
