What an amazing find! We popped in for dinner the other day on a whim and we were so very impressed with our meal. The menu is small, but fresh. We started with the traditional legume soup which was the best we have ever had and both my husband and myself chose the baked pork chop that came with a side salad and rice. Everything was fresh and delicious and the two people working there were very friendly and attentive. If you ever visit Viana do Castelo pop in and give this place a try - you will be happy you did. Oh and I forgot to add the price for all of this plus (2) beers - 29 euros....

The menu is very simple: Soup, 2 entrees to choose from (1 was vegetarian). The couvert was some of the best, nicest we’ve had at any restaurant in Portugal: delicious olives & cheese w/ warm bread. Of course they served a lovely wine by the glass & a Portugal craft beer that was new to us & a treat to find. Dessert was perfect- a slice of their chocolate cake & a coffee. They do what they do here beautifully. We’ll look forward...
