Kaza Blanca — Restaurant in Vila do Bispo

We visited Kaza Blanca our first night in Burgau. We were greeted by a lovely team and our server was fantastic throughout the evening. Upon arrival, we were given aperitif drinks. When I said I wasn't a drinker, they promptly brought me a N/A version. The pre-dinner assortment of dips, appetizers and delicious bread were a meal onto themselves (tomato, baba ganoush, spicy carrots, cabbage, couscous). Our server was informative and helped us to navigate the menu. We ordered a tagine chicken and a tagine fish. Both were flavorful and savory. The Moroccan couscous was a show stopper (savory and sweet). My partner is still talking about it. The mint tea was a lovely close to a perfect meal.

The dairy-free dessert on the menu was out for the evening, but our server told us they would have it the next day. The next day, we stopped by late as they were closing and they packaged up the dessert for us! It was worth the return (coconut cream, berries, mint)

We were invited to return for their weekly Sunday evening prefix meal complete with live music. As the weekend went on, we decided we wanted to return. Another fantastic meal in a beautiful environment from a welcoming team with serene music. We couldn't have asked for a better way to close our time in Burgau.

We had a wonderful experience yesterday at Kasa Blanca in Burgau! The service was friendly, professional, and welcoming. This is a must visit for anyone in the Algarve. The staff was very welcoming, plus it was convenient as it has parking nearby and is right by the beach. We came twice, once on a Sunday were they have a special live music event which is just perfect if you're looking for an enjoyable evening out with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Both times the service was fast and the food genuinely the best middle Eastern food we have had in portugal (particularly the lamb dish and baklava!). Very worthwhile the price, we will definitely be back again before leaving...
