Il Pizzaiollo — Restaurant in Vila Franca de Xira

First time coming and the place it was full we were quite surprised as we didn’t heard about this place before, the prices are quite good and below average. We started with the bacon and cheese garlic bread and then the rúcula salad both were great the salad was quite refreshing. The pizza was amazing we had half with egg and the other half with pepperoni and it was delicies we were extremely happy with the dough it made me remind the Pizza Hut dough.

The service it was average, we ordered starters and requested if those could come first and then the mains and unfortunately they came all at the same time. We had to ask several times for some things like small plates to share, condiments and balsamic vinegar.

The atmosphere was great it was full of people and you could tell everyone was having a nice time.

A bit hard to find parking as it is just in the middle of buildings.

Das experiências mais "nada de especial" que já tive. A não repetir! Íamos ter um jantar de aniversário, 11 pessoas. Chegamos primeiro 3 pessoas com um bebé de 1 ano e meio. Perguntamos se podíamos entrar e ficar sentados na mesa. Disseram que não, só quando chegasse mais gente do grupo. Fizeram-nos ficar na rua com um bebé de 1 ano e meio ao frio (5°C). Quando nos sentámos, os pedidos demoraram imenso tempo (o restaurante nem estava cheio). Os empregados alem de demorarem imenso a atender, passavam pela mesa, viam pratos vazios e não recolhiam. As pizzas são más. A massa da pizza é paposa, parece que estamos a comer bolo. Claramente das piores pizzas que já comi. Pedimos sangria de 1,5L em que 0,5L era gelo (sem exagero). Além do sabor ser horrível. Sabia a sangria de supermercado. O ambiente tem pouca iluminação (pelo menos onde nos sentaram) e estando 5°C na rua, decidiram colocar quase 30 graus no interior (valor exagerado mas para dar a entender que estava um calor exagerado). Muito abafado. Os valores não valem a pena. Em média uma pizza de tamanho médio ronda os 12€. Por este valor há restaurantes muito melhores e a fazerem pizzas realmente boas que não...

I grew up in Portugal and have been going there since I was a child ! I now lived in Florida for about 18 years, and EVERY-TIME I’m visiting my grandpa I make sure I stop and get my, “pão de alho com queijo”, at least once or twice. Sangria is also delicious 👌🏼def recommend to anyone. Hands down the BEST...
