Carbone Doha — Restaurant in Al-Daayen

The worst experience I have ever had in booking a table in a restaurant!!!!

I called today December 17th at 3.30 to book a table at around 6, a male staff answered and told me luckily there are availability at 5 pm and at 11.30, I was so happy and responded that 5 is perfect as we are planning to watch the football game at 6 pm, and of course I asked if they have screens and he responded with yes and I told him it's a perfect slot since we are coming to have an early dinner and watch the game today!!!

I called again at 4.45 to inquire about the best way to reach the restaurant and if they offer Valet parking, and here a female staff answered and she was surprised and told me your booking is tomorrow the 18th.. Obviously we were on the way to them while the people we invited were almost there! I told her that is a huge mistake I need a table today and she aggressively said ok but if you did not reach us within 15 minutes we will cancel your table, I was so shocked by her language as it was clear that she doesn't know how to speak politely to people, and I requested her to call the person whom I spoke to earlier..

Apparently he was the restaurant manager, and he told me it's a mistake please come and will hold the table for you..

10 minutes later my guests arrived and they were given a table indoors in a very dull location and away from the screen which was outside, Obviously they were shocked as the main reason to go was to have dinner while watching the match so they moved outside since the place was empty , and they told me later that a very rude lady came to them and said who told you that you can set here tables are reserved and then she called the manager who said that I informed the lady over the phone that the table is indoors which is a absolutely not true.. my guests left the restaurant before i arrived and we went to another place.. When I complained to the manager over the phone earlier about his staff attitude he said we are sorry we don't want to ruin ur night before it starts, but this is exactly what happened...
