A Taste of Lebanon in Doha!
I recently dined at a fantastic Lebanese restaurant in Doha, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the warm and inviting ambiance to the delicious and authentic flavors, this place truly captured the essence of Lebanese cuisine.
The moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The restaurant had a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, with beautifully decorated interiors that transported me to the heart of Lebanon.
The menu was extensive, featuring a wide variety of traditional Lebanese dishes. Each dish I tried was a burst of flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. The hummus was creamy and perfectly seasoned, the tabbouleh was refreshing, and the kebabs were tender and succulent. The portions were generous, ensuring that no one leaves hungry.
What impressed me the most was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. They went above and beyond to cater to my dietary preferences and even suggested some unique items that I wouldn't have thought to try otherwise.
The restaurant also had a delightful assortment of desserts, and I couldn't resist trying their baklava. It was a sweet and nutty delight, the perfect ending to a memorable meal.
Overall, this Lebanese restaurant in Doha truly exceeded my expectations. It offers a wonderful dining experience with its warm ambiance, authentic flavors, and attentive service. Whether you're a fan of Lebanese cuisine or looking to explore new flavorful horizons, this place is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return and indulge in their delectable dishes once again!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually donāt write reviews, but what I experienced at Em Sherif in Qatar was unacceptable and deeply upsetting. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with blatant disrespect. Their tone was rude, their expressions were cold, and it was obvious that they were selectively welcoming certain guests while giving us minimal attention and poor service.
It felt like we were not welcome simply because of who we are. This kind of treatment is not just bad service ā itās discrimination. We were spoken to with arrogance, ignored when we asked for basic things, and made to feel like we didnāt belong. No one should be treated this way in any place, especially not in a high-end restaurant that claims to represent Arab hospitality.
We even asked to speak to the manager, hoping for some professionalism and accountability. Unfortunately, his behavior reflected the same attitude ā dismissive, unwelcoming, and just as discriminatory. Rather than addressing our concerns, he made us feel even more invalidated.
Em Sherif is known for its Lebanese charm and warmth, but what we experienced was the opposite: cold, rude, and embarrassingly unprofessional behavior from the staff and even the management. I hope the higher management takes this seriously because no one deserves to be looked down upon or mistreated because of their background or...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEm Sherif Restaurant is located in the newest island destination in Qatar Al Maha Island. Really beautiful interior with large windows all around, perfect views around the island.
For the cold mezze, we started off with Hummus, Fattoush and Loubiyeh bil Zeit. All were delicious and tasted fresh. Also tried the Lahm bi Ajeen, nice flavor but the dough was a bit thick and there was a lot of moisture in the meat so the bread got a bit soggy.
For the hot mezze, we tried the Shawarma Samak, which are fish shawarma that looked like mini tacos. Very nice flavor and I would order this again. Also got the Kibbet Lahme, beef stuffed kibbe with yogurt and cucumber. The flavor was nice but it was cold so didn't taste as good. Also got the Batata Harra, spicy potato wedges, perfectly spicy and soft.
For the main course we tried the Tawouk, grilled chicken pieces served with garlic dip and lemon rice. Very delicious and juicy. Also got their Wagyu Kefta served with tomato rice. Nice flavor but was a bit too dry and not as juicy seeing as it was Wagyu. And I don't think it was worth the price at 225QR for 4 small skewers.
