I booked a table at this restaurant on Friday night because I was staying at the Fairmont Doha. I had driven from Saudi Arabia so was looking forward to having some good food and a nice experience. When I arrived I was greeted by a lady who told me I would be sitting at the bar for drinks and light bites (oh I didn’t know this is what I signed up for) I wondered if I was out at the bar because I was a solo person, I felt not good enough to eat in the main restaurant. I decided to sit outside and enjoy the view, which is pretty much what you’re paying for. I ordered the sprouts with the mash potato and a tuna taco and shrimp taco. I mean the tacos was chopped up pieces on a tiny piece of lettuce! This place isn’t cheap and I decided to get the bill and leave as I already had racked up a higher bill. I was still hungry so I walked over to the food trucks and got a burger. I’m a person who enjoy the experience of dining and good food and I’m happy to pay the premium, but I felt this place is purely for social media they want guests to post all their posey photos. I will say I did rate the cocktails, I ordered 2 and I would visit this bar again for drinks only.
