Lusail Marina Corniche — Attraction in Al-Daayen

Great, big city vibes at this vibrant new destination in town. Flanked by the sea on one side and the glittering new buildings of Lusail on the other, the walkway offers an enchanting experience for an evening stroll along with kids, who will love riding their scooters. Colorful fountains adorning the boardwalk pleases both the young and the old alike. The upcoming horse shoe-shaped Katara Towers hotel is in itself a sight to behold. The adjoining Lusail Plaza area is also still under construction. Once up and running, these will form part of the new, happening place in Lusail. I have visited Lusail Marina Corniche multiple times — recently in 2021 and again in 2023 — and every visit feels like a refreshing escape. It’s one of the most stunning waterfront destinations in Qatar, offering a perfect blend of modern architecture, peaceful walking tracks, and beautiful sea views.

The area is clean, well-organized, and ideal for family outings, evening walks, jogging, or simply relaxing by the sea. At night, the skyline lights up beautifully, creating a magical atmosphere. The surrounding area has cafes, restaurants, and marina views that make the entire experience even more special.
