Cotti Coffee - West Walk Doha — Restaurant in Al Rayyan

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this coffee shop. I wasn’t even given the basic courtesy of being heard. I initially ordered a low-fat milk coffee, only to be told it wasn’t available. That’s completely fine, but what followed was unacceptable.

As I tried to ask for an alternative, both the staff member and her manager repeatedly interrupted me with a blunt and dismissive “No, we can’t do that.” They refused to even let me finish my sentence or explain what I was looking for. The tone was rude and completely disrespectful.

This wasn’t just poor service it was a complete disregard for basic customer interaction. I left feeling unheard, insulted, and shocked. I sincerely hope the management reconsiders how their staff is trained to deal with customers, because this was beyond...

I was very excited and curious to try their coffee and patiently waited for my turn to order. When I reached the counter, my friend came holding paperbag with fries the staff cashier furiously and impolitely told us that outside food is not allowed well in fact the tables inside the cafe are eating their macDonald’s meal. I told him to look at them because POLICIES MUST APPLY TO ALL. The cashier again impolitely answered me, “Well, I dont see everybody since I am at the counter.” Very nice response by a kabayan. This is another nakakalungkot na kabayan story here in Qatar. Dear Cotti Management, products are good, thumbs up! But your staff made me decide not to come back.

Customers were coming in non-stop. I’ve been to their City Center branch before and I think the secret to their popularity is the great quality of the drinks, even though the prices are super reasonable. Even a medium size is more than enough!

The first floor is a bit lively and noisy but the second floor is much more relaxing. There was even a nice photo spot that’s perfect for Instagram. The staff were also amazing, definitely a 10 out of 10...
