Meat Moot Smoking | West walk, Doha — Restaurant in Al Rayyan

Here I come again to another of my long-awaited restaurants to be visited to , The MeatMoot.

Had plans to take my wife to the restaurant in Place Vendome for an occasion but always landed up with not being able to go there.

But yesterday came to know that they have a branch in West Walk. So, I decided not to wait for any occasion but to have a dinner date with my wife. It was risky to try a new place now. But still took a risk.

And the risk was worth it. Thanks Meat Moot, you made our day. We ordered ribs, and the meat was well cooked and tasty.

I am a person who likes to try different restaurants, but not spend too much.

Initially thought it would be very expensive but when came to know that you have refillable sides , sauces & drinks. It was worth the cost for the tasty food , ambience and serving.

We were lucky enough to see the fire show by the chef, requested by another guest. It is a place for meat lovers.

This place is now on my re-visit list of...

The food was incredible – the lamb was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. But what truly made our visit unforgettable was the service.

Ella completely won our hearts. She was incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful from the moment we walked in. Her warm attitude and attentiveness made us feel truly valued as guests. She went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and delivered the kind of service you rarely come across these days.

The food was fantastic on its own, but Ella’s exceptional service and her warmth made it a hundred times better.

I usually don’t write reviews, and Ella never once mentioned or hinted at it – but this comes truly from my heart. I wanted to write this because she absolutely deserves to be recognized. It’s rare to be treated with such care and kindness

AVOID THIS PLACE! Absolutely outrageous! Half of my dish was just beef bones—at least 300g out of 600g. When I pointed it out, the manager didn’t care at all and blamed the supplier. I understand that bones come with the meat, but that doesn’t mean he has to sell them at the same price as the (very fatty) meat! To make things worse, he even came to us saying, "Why did you choose it then?"—as if we could have known in advance that half the plate would be just bones!

Even worse, he claimed it was normal to have three big bones in 600g of meat and to charge full price for something you can’t even eat! No apology, no solution—just a total rip-off. You’re paying a premium for something worthless. Now I understand why this restaurant is empty at peak dinner time, while its neighbors are full.

This place is a scam....
