Outstanding Service and Unforgettable Experience at Burj Al Hamam
We had an incredible dining experience at Burj Al Hamam, thanks to their outstanding attention to detail and warm hospitality. We were a group of 13 and were given a beautiful table near the waterfront that perfectly suited our gathering.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special thanks to Rimal and Mr. Ahmad, who meticulously arranged our seating and took care of every request with grace and professionalism. Their efforts made the start of our evening seamless and enjoyable.
Equally, our heartfelt gratitude to Moath, who ensured that each guest was well taken care of, took all our orders efficiently, and made us feel like valued patrons. His ability to balance attentiveness with genuine friendliness truly elevated our experience.
We were given great recommendations on choosing between the set menu and à la carte options, making the dining experience both flexible and satisfying. The team worked harmoniously to address all our requests, keeping smiles on their faces throughout, which made the evening even more memorable.
Interestingly, we originally planned to dine in a downtown restaurant, but my father’s nostalgic memories of this place from a decade ago brought us back here. What a phenomenal decision that turned out to be! The combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and the stunning waterfront setting made it a night to remember.
A big thank you to everyone who made our visit unforgettable. Burj Al Hamam, with its incredible team, has earned its place in our hearts, and we look forward to coming...
Read moreI have very mixed feelings about the place. Let me start with the positives - service was friendly and attentive, the location is stunning with great views of the marina and the restaurant is huge and overall clean. The starters we had were tasty - hummus with beef, chicken liver with pomegranate sauce and halloumi - and served with some warm bread and veggies. However, the main dishes we had were not good at all. Personally, I like to mix sweet and savoury, and experiment with flavours, so when I saw there was a kebab option with cherry jam, I thought it would be a good and interesting choice. Unfortunately, it was a big fat disappointment - the meat was swimming in cherry jam that was mostly sour and too overpowering; the taste of cherry also doesn't mix well with that of the spices used in the meat mince. It made everything taste and smell as if it had gone off. My mother got the kebab with yoghurt sauce, another disappointment, but still better than my choice - the meat was swimming in cold yoghurt, which destroyed the overall flavour and texture. There was also fried bread in both dishes, which got absolutely soggy because of the amount of sauce. It's a shame but both dishes were a big let down. We felt very bloated the whole night afterwards as well. Anyway, the Turkish coffee and desserts were nice, as well as the service, which is why I'm giving the place 3*. I'm sorry, but overall I would not recommend (and if you do decide to come, choose some of the most basic, simple dishes so you don't have our disappointing experience of flavours that don't work...
Read moreWell, burj al hamam is supposed to be a 5 stars restaurant, but our experience there definitely wasn't even close. Starting up, the service was very slow and unresponsive. Second, the food took a long time to come, the chicken shawerma was half overdone and half almost raw, and it wasn't good at all. Other dishes were decent but not great. We had to ask maybe 5 times for tissues. The table wasn't clean and was sticky, and the plate mats were even worse. The live music consisted of 1 guy playing the oud and singing, and while his oud skills were good, his singing was far from good and it was simlpy nonstop annoyance in my opinion. Adding to all of that, iur table swing wasn't working, while the two next to us were occupied by children who were swigning them so hard nonstop and hitting each other's table swings, dropping stuff every once and a while, while the staff was just standing still and didn't move a finger to stop them. Here it wasn't just a out the disturbance (which was significant), but also the huge risk on the kids which I partly blame the staff for. All in all, I can't say there was anything particularly special about the place judging by...
