Bay View — Restaurant in Doha

We went here for brunch to celebrate a family birthday. The setting is lovely, has a very nice vibe. The food was wide ranging and delicious. A mixture of buffet and freshly cooked food which is brought to the table. The issue was the service, it was sooo slow. They were seriously understaffed, it's not that the staff were lazy, all were actively busy but simply not enough of them. No one offered to get us drinks. After 30 mins I found someone to ask and we waited 50 mins in total for our first drink and it was the same throughout the brunch. I ended up going and getting our own bottle of water from the servers station because my children were thirsty. The staff also had very specific roles, we tried to order drinks with someone who was clearing plates but he explained that was not his role. We had to request for plates to be cleared multiple times as well. Another point I feel management should consider is a non smoking area. Part way through our meal 2 gentleman lit up cigars right next to my 6 year old. Having been twice for business lunch where the service was great I was very surprised by the brunch. A gem of a place for Saturday brunch. We were pleasantly surprised as we didn't expect such an amazing brunch for a Saturday. Bay View provides an incredible brunch experience with live dj and sax on the day we were here 21.12.2024. There is an open buffet including a set menu of cold, hot dishes and grills which comes as part of the package. Food is top quality with creative menu items freshly prepared delicious. We would like to thank Salah who took really good care of us during our brunch. The staff are very polite and provide a wonderful experience. The brunch package includes the use of the swimming pool until 9pm. We highly recommend Bay View and we will coming back now that we find this great spot in Doha. Breakfast at Bay View Restaurant was truly one of the highlights of my stay. The variety and quality of the food were excellent — from fresh pastries and fruits to hot dishes made with care. Everything was well-prepared and tasty.

What stood out even more was the staff. Everyone was welcoming, polite, and attentive. Special thanks to Anwar, Suhail, Ayoub, and the rest of the team — you all made the mornings feel extra special with your kindness and professionalism.

The restaurant does get a bit crowded after 10 AM, but even during peak hours, the team works hard and maintains a high level of service. Their energy and attitude never change, and it really adds to the overall experience.
