Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha — Restaurant in Doha

The whole experience from first day to last day was absolutely superb! I feel this deserves a comprehensive review.

We had a driver, Nono from the valet, ready for us to take straight from the airport to the hotel. He was very pleasant and professional, with a warming smile straight away.

We got to the hotel, Kirill at the reception understood we were very tired and wanted to get to the rooms so he was very fast with the process and seamless, very knowledgeable and very helpful, again with a warming smile! We also saw him on our last day too!

I want to add this, do not worry about your luggage when you get to the hotel because they will take it straight to your room before you even know the room number and they are nearby, completely hassle-free. His name is Patrick Eneche, when I saw him moving the suitcases for me, he really put us at ease and with a warming smile too!

The whole stay was just absolutely amazing and I felt so relaxed and well taken care of. All the staffs I came across were really friendly and very accommodating. Oh, your bed always gets done so always fresh everyday and fresh towels too!

All the staffs that I really enjoyed talking to and they were just very hospitable were;

Abu - the lifeguard at the beach, really good guy with an infectious positive energy! He gave me a thobe as a gift, cleaned and ironed. I hope to see him again sometime!

Vincent - public house security guard, big infectious smile! He welcomed us every time we see each other as if we are long term friends!

Anthony - watersports guy, always smiling! He gave us a kayak and a pedal boat to use! Very assisting and helpful.

Chaminda - lifeguard at the beach, always smiling too! He always made sure we have plenty of water and he has on multiple occasions helped us prepare the sunbeds with towels and carried cool boxes, Abu did the same too! Even Anthony as well!

Chef Patrick - he works in a room service dining, his food are absolutely out of the world! If there was an opportunity, I would hire him as my personal chef. Not even exaggerating, his food made me feel like I'm home. Not just your fancy restaurant food, his cooking made you FEEL like home. I was so blown away! That will forever be in my memory.

Elber - very assisting and helpful with the bookings.

I met Balbina and Sarah and they were such lovely people, very positive people with a very warm smile straight away! They made us feel like we have known each other for a long time!

The twin brothers - Hassan and Hussein. I tell you what, I really thought this guy worked so many hours from early morning to late night, like wow I thought he was crazy. Until I found out they are twins!!!😂 I couldn't tell them apart because they both acted exactly the same, brilliant service and very friendly. Hassan works at breakfast service and Hussein works at Public House. When I was ordering a beer, I was looking for the specific taste because I wasn't sure which one to go for, Hussein recommended a specific beer that I forgot the name but he KNEW exactly what I want, he knows his stuff.

Another thing, Chef Ricardo who works at breakfast service brought me rice at the table, which was very kind of him! He was always saying hello to us and asking how we are!

Overall, the experience was just perfect. The Hotel is absolutely beautiful and everything was just pure perfection. All the staffs I came across were always smiling. Oh, there's a lovely woman playing the piano at the main entrance, wow, amazing music. She looked like a star!

I will come back again JUST to see these people, they are the reason I want to come back.

I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service we experienced during our stay at Marsa Malaz Kempinski Doha, particularly highlighting a few remarkable individuals.

First and foremost, I want to commend Sara, the supervisor at the Titan Tikes children's play area. She has truly been the highlight of our stay. Her caring and nurturing attitude towards our child has been nothing short of transformative. It’s incredible to see how she has built so much confidence in our little one—something we can hardly comprehend. Sara's experience with children shines through in her daily interactions, making the play area a warm and welcoming environment for kids and parents alike.

We also had the pleasure of being assisted by Nicolas Mulondo, our housekeeping staff member. He was outstanding in addressing all our needs and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.

Initially, we encountered some slow service at the breakfast area, with our orders for eggs and coffee taking about 30 minutes to arrive. However, our experience improved significantly during the last three days of our stay. We were fortunate to meet amazing staff members like Abdullah, Hassan, and Waled, who were always attentive and ready to fulfill our requests. They ensured that we received our food, coffee, baby chair, and spoons almost immediately, which completely changed our perspective on the breakfast service.

Dining at Al Sufra was another highlight of our trip. Nour and the same attentive staff—Abdullah, Hassan, and Waled—provided us with exceptional service that prompted us to return for more meals. Having half-board, we had the opportunity to try out all the restaurants, and the best service we received was undoubtedly at Al Sufra.

Conversely, our experience at Bebo was disappointing. The manager's rudeness left us feeling discriminated against because we had a baby with us. He ignored us on several occasions, and when we raised our concerns, he failed to acknowledge them, which was disheartening.

On a brighter note, we visited the Secret Garden on our last night, and the experience was excellent. The manager engaged us in conversation, inquiring about our holiday and ensuring we were satisfied. His attentiveness and management skills stood in stark contrast to our experience at Bebo, making us feel genuinely welcomed.

Lastly, I want to recognize the security staff, especially Priscilla and Elizabeth at the entrance. They were incredibly kind and always made an effort to interact positively with our baby.

Overall, our stay at Marsa Malaz Kempinski Doha was memorable, thanks to the outstanding service provided by several team members. Their dedication made a significant difference in our experience, and we look forward to returning...

An Unforgettable Stay at Marsa Malaz Kempinski!

We stayed at Marsa Malaz Kempinski for 8 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the birth of our baby boy, and our experience was truly amazing — far beyond what we could have imagined!

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and special as possible. We were even upgraded to a beautiful room, which was such a wonderful surprise.

A huge thank you to Jayah (Catering Manager) and his amazing team — Chef Talal, Amesh, Biswajith, Talfic, Muath, Khaine, Abdul, and Yassine — for their exceptional hospitality. They catered to all our needs and even prepared special meals for our daughter, who was being a bit picky. Their kindness and attention to detail really stood out.

We were also touched by the thoughtful fruit basket sent to our room by Jayah and Sujan (Housekeeping Manager) for us and the kids — such a sweet gesture!

The waiting staff, especially Abderhim, were absolutely wonderful — so attentive, friendly, and warm. They made us and our kids feel truly special every time we dined.

Manoj from the bar deserves a special mention for making some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had — absolutely delicious!

The pool team — Kumara (Pool Manager), Chamad, Pasan, and the rest of the crew — were fantastic and made sure we and the kids could enjoy the pool and beach safely. They even provided pool toys and floaters, which made it extra fun for the little ones.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to the housekeeping team — Sujan, Godwin, and Josephine — for keeping our room spotless and surprising us daily with creative towel art, decorations, and treats for the kids.

And of course, the Ladies in Red (Fiorela) were simply wonderful — so friendly, warm, and engaging with us and the children. They really made us feel welcome every day.

This stay was made extra special because of all these amazing people. We’re so grateful to everyone (including those whose names we might have missed) for making our time here truly unforgettable.
