Where should I start. Quick notice: none of my reviews are biased but this could be a little due to the "impeccable" service of our waiter. The place itself is incredibly beautiful, quite a nice place to enjoy a meal or a night out with your friends. Coming right to the service part, I have only bad things to say. If you order a drink, the time you'll wait is equal to the time you wait to get something to eat. We ordered 2 simple sodas. It took our waiter around 45 minutes to bring them. We tried to catch his attention a couple of times, his excuse being that he had to let them 3-4 minutes to chill in the freezer. Maybe he doesn't have perception of time, I can't judge that. The peak of our waiters beautiful service was when we got the bill, of course, extremely delayed. We just simply asked for the change to our bills. From what I am aware of you leave change to show appreciation for the waiters nice service and attitude. There was no need for that at all, belive me. I am better donating that money to a charity than leaving it to an arrogant waiter. You can see in the picture that he gave all our 30 ron change in 1 ron bills. I think that this act of revenge by his part alone says it all. The food is quite good though and in...
Read moreIt’s the third time we’e been dissapointed with the food. This time we were invited by some friends, and tried to order something safe which is easy to cook and hard to mess up. We ordered “Dezmat” which is basically, french fries, fried egg and panchetta. The egg was half done, not runny like it should be, but the egg white was still transparent on the upperside and it was gooey and uncooked. The french fries were dripping in oil and the panchetta was sad and soft. It would have been delicious if it was better cooked and had a crunchy texture. My girlfriend ordered an avocado egg toast which is basically an avocado spreaded on a bread toast with a fried egg on top. The egg here was done correctly, but unseasoned, like hospital food. There was no toast, it was just a burger bun cut in half which had the sad unseasoned egg in the middle, and wait for it, the avocado was sliced, put as a side in the plate and had black spots on it, showing it was overdue. I do not recommend the food here, it dissaponts. The staff is respectfull, but the place is understaffed and you can barely get an order. If you are in a hurry to leave you need to chase the waiters to get...
Read moreIf you're looking for a pub like vibe where you can bring your friends to enjoy some drinks and have some pizza maybe this would be such place although it is way overpriced and overrated.
BUT In case you want to enjoy some good food then better look somewhere else: we have ordered salmon and asparagus and Argentinian beef with grilled vegetables. The salmon was acceptable but way overpriced for the way it was prepared and the asparagus was not fresh and without a real taste. The Argentinian beef ordered medium-well arrived well done and bone dry. I have refused the meat and reordered the same course which ultimatelly returned medium-rare-ishhh ... but still very dry outside. The grilled vegetables were the worst I could had in a long long time. Just imagine a dish were you have an Argentinian beef plated with scattered peas and cheap mayonnaise with some ketchup on the plate; a complete disaster and a total scam. Honestly I doubt it was Argentinian beef though. Well this is the last time here for sure for us. Serving times from ordering: 20 minutes for appetizers; 35 minutes for main course (55 minutes for the re-done...
