​Horrible Service and an Unacceptable Experience ​I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was horrible and our entire experience was unacceptable. ​Possible Discrimination: Upon arrival, we were seated in a hidden corner at the back, and when we questioned this, we were told the restaurant was fully booked despite many empty tables. We believe we were treated this way because we are visibly Muslim. ​Rude Staff: Our waiter, Catalin Dinca, was rude and arrogant from the get-go. We should have left immediately but decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he might just be having an off day. ​Poor Atmosphere: This is an expensive indoor restaurant, not an open-air terrace. The large windows were wide open, allowing swarms of mosquitoes and other insects inside. It's completely unacceptable to have an indoor dining area filled with bugs. ​Contaminated Food: We had barely started our appetizers when we began getting bitten by mosquitoes. To our disgust, insects then started falling directly into our food, as you can see in the video I've attached. ​Unprofessional Management: When we called the manager over to see the insects in our food, our waiter, Catalin, interrupted her before she could even speak. He rudely stated, "This is not our fault and we can't do anything about it." After this, we no longer wanted to stay. They still insisted we pay for the appetizers we had barely touched. ​Overall: The experience was expensive and shockingly unprofessional. Trying to resolve the issue felt like talking to a wall. The manager was rendered useless because the male waiter was overbearing and wouldn't allow her to manage the situation. The cutlery 🍴 was not clean properly. We paid 222lei or 44.4€ for food...

I am an old customer of this restaurant and I was quite happy with the place until yesterday when I ordered a shisha which never arrived, for unclear reasons. When I went to inquire about the order (1.30 h after I asked for it), the lady in charge with the restaurant, who was sitting in the reception area, told me, in front of other clients and employees that the restaurant cannot serve me shisha because my bills for the past few weeks were around 50 E and because I usually do not order food and that this is the rule. That particular evening I had ordered food and so I have most of the times before. Moreover, she raised her voice and laughed into my face, contradicting me and basically insinuating that I was a liar (when I corrected her statements).

I was not aware that this lady, an employee of the restaurant whose client I am, was monitoring my orders and keeping track of the value of my bills and that she would hold me responsible for my consumption habits, basically shame me in public and refuse to serve me shisha out of the sudden.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and always ordered shisha and was served accordingly, regardless of the bill value. So has everyone else I know who comes here. The conclusion is that this rule applies only for me, based on the value of my bills (?), as I was told, in public, in a very rude and openly discriminatory way, in front of other people by this employee whose job is to ensure a quality service. I have never experienced this before anywhere else and I find this kind of attitude simply unacceptable, biased and totally unproper for...

We waited for over 20 minutes for the waiter to show up at the table and when he did there was no apology no welcome no nothing... all he mumbled was " can I take the food order"..we wanted to get drinks first , before our early dinner and it didn't go well with him..he came back later and the service turned into a nightmare. Next to our table was a large party with a bunch of kids running around, playing, screaming..Very annoying. It was the libanese Chuck E. Cheese for kids on steroids .Mentioned that to the waiter 3 times with no successful result. So , between noisy kids, lack of service, cold plates and a very snobby atmosphere this place should get 0, zero stars in my opinion. I guess the rich folks of Bucharest come here to show off they expensive trendy clothes and such...just an observation..if I were them I would definitely find a place worth going to.....Zaitoon has nothing to offer. It is waste time and money. There were six of us and this happened on the 19th of November the day before...
