Herăstrău Lake — Attraction in Bucharest

You can spend a couple of hours just walking around the lake. Though every day is nice to spend time there, Sunday is the best day to visit as lot of people are there - crowded not overcrowded, and all the small food booths are open and offer local delights. If you like to fish, this is a place you can bring your stuff and enjoy fishing. There is also a possibility to rent kayaks or pedal boats on Sunday. Take in account that you're finish, if you need a taxi, don't wait outside the park as taxi won't stop there. there is no place to stop and most cabs are already full when passing by the park area. my advice is to use the local taxi app to order a cab...

Beautiful and big park with different setups and places, The park opens in the major boulevards of Bucharest. In nice weather you can find many happenings almost daily. However, there is a need for improvements on northern alleys, constant maintenance on lights during the night and not letting fancy restaurants eat up the alleys.
