Bordei Park — Attraction in Bucharest

The park itself is small and nice but there are a few things that i disliked. Let's start with what I liked. First of all, the kids playground is big and has a ton of slides and swings, so it's not going to feel crowded even if it is. It has ramps, and tunnels that reach the slides and it's super fun for the little ones to wonder around. Also, for a bit of nostalgia, interestingly you will find old school (small) carousels with horses. Unfortunately, there are a few things that I disliked. One of them and the most annoying is that the playground is not lit in the evening or at night, so if your kid wants to stay past 9, you will have to search him with a flashlight. Second thing is that some alleys are also not lit, so you pretty much have to guess where to step. 3rd thing is that the park doesn't have stroller ramps, so you will have to off-road a bit. Big park, a few playground areas, the one down by the lake is in a state of disrepair, the big one up near the parking lot is refurbished and at least at this time, well maintained. Suitable for lots of activities, jogging, biking, rowing. Inside the park not many options (except 2 up-market restaurants) for refreshments, one needs to cross the boulevard towards Herăstrău park to get a water or coffee. Felt safe during daytime, I've never been there after nightfall but never saw unsavoury characters around. The neighbourhood is pretty posh (probably highest realty prices in Bucharest are within walking distance). Well maintained vegetation and grass areas. Iarna-n Bordei

Mișcarea din parcul Bordei mi-a bucurat ochiul cu un alt decor și m-a întristat când am văzut elemente lipsă.

Pe Wiki găsiți: Parcul Bordei este un parc din București, amenajat din 1936 pe malul lacului Floreasca, imediat în aval de ecluza de legătură cu Lacul Herăstrău. Îl desparte un pod rutier de Parcul Herăstrău și se întinde pe o suprafață de 3,3 hectare[1].

În 1980 accesul publicului în parc a fost interzis, fiind declarat zonă de protecție de grad zero, deoarece se afla în apropiere de reședința lui Nicolae Ceaușescu.

În septembrie 2003, parcul a devenit proprietatea omului de afaceri Costică Constanda, care a obținut terenul din Parcul Bordei la schimb pentru alte terenuri pe care le cumpărase de la foștii proprietari

În iunie 2007, senatorul Marius Marinescu a înaintat Biroului Permanent al Senatului României propunerea legislativă privind declararea de utilitate publică a terenurilor-proprietate a lui Costică Constanda, situate în București, zona "Parcul Bordei". Alături de senatorul Marius Marinescu, inițiatorul legii, au semnat, în calitate de co-inițiatori, și senatorii Ion Iliescu, fost președinte al României, și Nicolae Văcăroiu, fost premier al României, președintele Senatului la acea orǎ. Un an mai târziu, propunerea legislativă a fost adoptată și de Camera Deputaților, apoi promulgată de președintele României și publicată în Monitorul Oficial, devenind Legea nr.170/2008 privind declararea de utilitate publică a terenurilor situate în București, zona "Parcul Bordei".

În martie 2008, consilierii generali ai Primăriei Capitalei au aprobat proiectul de hotărâre care prevede trecerea terenului în suprafață de 2,8 hectare din domeniul privat în cel public și intrarea sa în administrarea Direcției Lacuri, Parcuri...
