We were here in 2023 first time and had a good dining experirnce overall, however our second visit now was disappointing. First, we were 5 adults with 2 small children and were forced to inhale the cigarette smoke from another table which was located in the middle of the restaurant. The terrace was closed so normally smoking should have been prohibited, but even after we addresed the issue to the waiters they did not take any action or ask those guests to stop smoking. I had beyti kebab, which was not at all as expected. I had a much better and cheaper beyti kebab recently in Dubai, which says something about Duman's prices. We know that the area is one of the most expensive in Bucharest but the food quality should also be at the highest level. Read moreAbsolutely fantastic experience! This Turkish restaurant exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The ambiance was inviting, with a perfect blend of modern and traditional Turkish décor.
Now, the food—simply outstanding! The mixed grill platter was a highlight, with perfectly seasoned lamb, chicken, and beef that were all juicy and flavorful. The freshly baked bread and hummus were the perfect starters, and the baklava for dessert was the best I’ve ever had—flaky, rich, and not overly sweet.
The service was impeccable, with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations. Everything was served promptly, and the attention to detail was evident in every dish.

Read moreWe went here for lunch. (We already knew the kind of food from the other Duman restaurant from Bucharest). I was very impressed by the fact that when I called for reservation (in very short notice) I was called back to be informed that my table was freed early and I can come to eat. The service is great, the waiter was very polite and friendly. He made jokes with us, we really had a good time. From the appetizers my favorite is Mutabal. They also have a great salad to which the pomergranate gives an amazing flavor. I also had Chicken skewers (Tavuk Sis) which is also very good. The portions are big so appetizer and 1st course is too much but I can’t help it😂 the food is too good. The lemonades are fresh and not too sweet. I will come...
