One star for the view. One star for the fresh beer. Everything else is lacking. At least the waitress warned us that the kitchen was backed up, causing us to cancel our food order. Beers took 15 minutes to bring to the table. All the makings of a place grandfathered into the building probably, with little to no competition in the area around Kunstkamera. Understaffed and inefficient. Have no idea why the waitress works here… she was relatively polite and professional, apologizing for the amateur hour taking place in the kitchen. Her tips no doubt suffer.

We've stopped by because of a long queue to Kunstcamera during a cold day. The place is rather small, divided into 2 areas (restaurant and bar) and has a real piano in between the areas used for live music. The place has the theme of Saint Petersburg, resembling its name, and is decorated with naval paintings. Lunch for one person was around $15-20, tasty and enough. Staff was nice and welcoming. Nice and cozy restaurant with authentic russian cuisine. Here you may enjoy the straigh view to St. Isaak Cathedral and Neva-embankment. We had Sonjanka and Münchener Würstchen with Brezel for dinner and was satisfied with both the taste and serving. Special thanks to the waitress,she was very friendly and helpful.
