Great place if you want to try perfect serbian grill. Feels like you are in Lesovac or on Gucha, great atmosphere with polite staff. The place is authentic. Two big halls with lots of tables and bar. Typical serbian cafe with pictures of national heroes like Nikola Tesla. The cafe has pictures of national wear from different places from Serbia. And now they are painting the wall from the PetroVarazhdinska Fortress. Food is tasty it is served quickly, fresh and hot. If you are fan of pleskavica, chebapi or any other balkan grill, this is the place. The recipe of the food is like original, you can not feel the difference. Unfortunately there is no serbian beer and hot chili that are always served with chebapi and pleskavica, big minus, you can dring belgian or russian ale, hope to bring serbian beer soon. But you can drink serbian mineral or steel water. Music there is sebian, typical serbian, which makes the atmosphere more authentic. You can pay by cash or card. The place is not too expensive its like $$. The thing i liked the most were the flags, Yugoslovian and Serbian. It symbolize the united Yugoslavia, and that cafe connects them. There is no access for wheelchairs. Its got one unisex toilet and you have to wait...i think that have to be fixed. The place is casual, and its got big tables for sitting, so it is ok to come with friends. I think its ok to come with kids, during the weekend to try the food and drink juices that are made in serbia. I recommend the Ukusno, its good and it can be seen from the road. There are no parking lots, you must search, so be ready to walk little distance. Great work! Keep...
Read moreI know, it's not very "in-fashion" to be writing review for restaurant in Russia in 2025. But setting aside that, this restaurant is lovely.
Service is nice, atmosphere is not bad, despite the oddly shaped sofa. (I have to assume the designer is deeply fascinated by Venus flytrap and wondered how it would feel to get swallowed by one as you're dining.)
Anyway, as I was saying, the food in this place is lovely. My girlfriend, who happens to dislike meat, had to admit that this place served the best chicken she's eaten in her life. I love the burger (there's a Serbian name for it but I only remember it has a "J" in some odd places) and the side garnish as well. Lovely meat and bread.
It was so good that I revisited it again upon my second visit to Petersburg.
So if you, for whatever reason, happen to go to St. Petersburg. Take my word for it and go grab a bite.
As usual, the photos I take are terrible because I couldn't wait to devour the food. You should probably go look at other people's photos if you want something...
Read moreLove it. A lot of meat in the soup, cutlet made out of 100 percent meat without anything extra for just 250 Rub (perfect for keto/gluten free), salad with good veggies and cheese - 200 Rub. Fast, hearty, comfy, toilet available, staff is friendly. A few requests: 1. Please, specify all ingredients in the menu (was unpleasantly surprised to find carrots in my soup) 2. Another location (Ligovskiy avenue) serves only hamburgers, no cutlets (keep it in mind for gluten free...
