As tourists, we heard so many great things about this place. However, it is not as hyped. The staff reception was not welcoming, with a hint of attitude (i think she was the supervisor). Our waiter, on the other hand, was good. What shocked me was that such a touristy place did not have an english menu. The supervisor just gave it to us and walked away, waiting for us to figure it out. I can not think of an excuse of not having an english menu for tourists. After all, this is a cafe that receives a lot of tourists. The "favorite" pancake was ok at best, slightly heavy. On the other hand, the pouched egg with turkey ham on the waffle was extremely delicious (6 stars! highly recommended). Flat white coffee was good, but apple juice was warm! Note that the place starts to get crowded quickly after 10

I ordered a blueberry pie and warm cocoa, but they said something was wrong with the pie and they couldn't serve it, so the waitress recommended the raspberry brownie-cheese cake. Both the coca and brownie were not so sweet so I'll give the place four stars (Usually American desserts are too sweet for me). However, the portion was too big for me, and I packed half of the brownie. I would recommend two people ordering one portion if you're not a sweet tooth. Service was good, the staff speak English. The place was really crowded though (Sunday noon).

Maybe it is a Moscow thing but very poor choice of dishes as if this particular restaurant was given a few ingredients and was asked to mix and match them into a big number of dishes. Poor quality of ingredients - salmon is thickly cut, avocado otherwise is too thin there’s just the word avocado in the air. Also restaurant didn’t mention extra ingredients put into salads or toasts. Maybe A client has an allergy? Or for instance in my case I ordered dish to share with a child who doesn’t eat cheese that was sprinkled all over the place. I didn’t ask to change the dish simply because I was too hungry to wait half an hour again and my child was too. I don’t think there is the next time I visit any dessert places founded by Nina (hope I am not mistaken in the name of the founder), as the place has little credibility and simply NOT TASTY. Neither for kids...

The phenomenon of the place staying in business for so long and attracting so many people into its super small premises I can only address to Instagram culture, because almost all of their cakes are only looking good but are overloaded with unnecessary ingredients and are tasting quite awful. For instance, the brownie cheesecake which the waiters recommend to warm up is simply disgusting. Any homemade soviet style honey cake or smetannik can't probably beat this place's cakes on looks but for sure will beat on taste. So, if you do not care posting online every food you eat or simply take pics of, this is definitely no value for...
