The purpose of our trip was sightseeing in Moscow, at a relaxed pace.||||The access to the hotel is a bit confusing, because Google maps shows a different entrance. The hotel has made sure to put a sign and direct guests to the inner courtyard where the entrance is. Public transportation is excellent, there is a metro station for 3 connections, Line 2, Line 7 and Line 9, 5 minutes walking from the hotel, additional to the buses on the main street. ||||The rooms are good but a bit too tight for 2 adults with 2 suitcases. A space for the suitcases would make it more comfortable to walk around the room. The hotel provides all the accessories that you would expect and in a good quality. The reception and housekeeping were always very responsive and quick to provide a good service. Sleep quality is very good and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout our stay. There is no elevator.||||The breakfast was basic with nothing exceptional to it, as we were led to believe from reviews. Apart from the hotel restaurant, which we only tried for breakfast the first few days, there are many options around the area. Less than 5 minutes walking distance around the hotel, there are a small grocery store, a liquor store, pharmacy and all kinds of restaurants. Tverskaya str., a very central and busy street, is right up the corner.||||Finally, I recommend this hotel for couples, solo travelers and friends. Value for money is very good and we had a great time...
Read moreWe stayed in June 2018 during FIFA world cup period. Although the building was old and hard to find the entrance, we found it's a very nice, charming boutique hotel. |The room was nicely furnished, the bathroom space was ample although bathroom equipment including shower screen, vanity and tap were a bit old. There's no lift, so had a little hard time to bring up heavy bags to out room upstairs. |Location was fantastic. All sorts of restaurants and cafes are nearby, from fast food to fashionable restaurants/cafes. The hotel was located in central Moscow and the subway stations were 5 minutes walk. Very convenient for sight seeing. Even a clinic which has English speaking doctor was close. |Breakfast room was rather small but had good variety food, even a glass of sparkling wine. We loved their coffee even if it's by made by machine.|The staff were friendly and helpful.|The facility was not 4 stars level, however, overall we had a...
