Steak it easy — Restaurant in Tverskoy District

Thanks to Corona 1½ years had passed by since my last visit here. If things became better? To anticipate the answer: no.

After being guided to my place at the bar, I was not yet sitting but still with one buttock hovering over the chair when the waiter already puts the menu in front of me while nervously asking what I want to drink. Guys - let me breath, I just arrived!

Carpaccio as a starter followed by ribs with fries resulted into the same catastrophe as earlier days: food is presented as it is ready not as ordered. Meaning: I got the fries first, followed by the ribs 10 minutes later and finally completed by the carpaccio anytime in between. Thanks God I haven't ordered the dessert already; chances are high that they had brought it first.

If you want to get a practical understanding what inflation, come here and look to the portions: small, smaller, smallest, while prices remained moderate. What are 300 g ribs including bones?

Finally, asking for the check came along by the surprise, that credit card is "..unfortunately not possible today.." - same as so often 1½ years back.

Thus, I strongly don't recommend that place. There are many alternatives close by meanwhile. Pick one, where the staff knows about the basics in...

Brunch! I would highly recommend coming here for brunch. It consists of a menu from which you an order without limit. Several soups and salads, snack and most importantly steaks! All of this without limit. For the price of 1500 this is a steal! The steaks are delicious and the soup is fantastic. They also have great desserts. The drinks are not included, however their wine on tap at the high tables is very good and cheap This is the second time I come here for brunch. First time there was a single bad steak, or which they apologized and compensation was made by paying...

I went here first evening they opened and 10 months on this is still a great restaurant. Not a gourmet spectacular by any means but just great steak and sides served by friendly staff at a very fair price. Good place for celebrations. Wine selection is good and even the house wine is pretty good.
