Safmar Tverskaya Moscow — Hotel in Tverskoy District

Hotel reached out to me with my reservations well in advance, and helped me organize a large group trip to Moscow very well. Their service was impeccable, and I commend the staff greatly.

Arrived earlier than the check in time, but the staff were very welcoming, and soon enough got us into upgraded rooms. Rooms were very spacious, with large televisions, beds, bathrooms, and living areas. Bathroom amenities were plentiful and of quality. Rooms seem to be showing their age, with peeling wallpaper and damaged furniture. Nothing major that would detract from my stay, however.

Concierges were lovely, helped us to the fully extent to enjoy our stay. Hotel location is just a 20-30min walk to Red Square, and near many wonderful restaurants.

My only concern with the hotel would be the dining. Lobby bar was comfortable and proper, however beer choices were limited. Breakfast was unfortunately underwhelming, with a variety, but not a wide selection.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Moscow. Great staff, great rooms,...

We visited this hotel the last week of April 2018. We had a team of 11 that arrived in the late afternoon of April 21, 2018. The front desk staff were incredible. Kind and patient with our needs for a group of 11 women. We then preceeded to the resturant to eat. The service and the meal were delicious. The next day we awoke to the same service during our breakfast meal and business with the front desk. The security in the hotel was excellent! We were met with kindness from every employee of the hotel. Did I mention that we were not sure we saw an employee working the front desk and or the resturant facilites that was older than 24 years of age. Ha,ha,ha Yet, their manners and attitudes were impeccable. The hotel itself was nice and clean. Rooms were very nice. Confernce room was great and snack breaks were more than we expected. Pros: Location is very convenient for us to catch aeroexpress and take metro. Room is bigger than expected, facing the courtyard rather than busy street is a plus. Check-in/out was smooth. we requested the recipient lady to prepare a packed breakfast for one-day excursion to Suzdal, and they did prepare some nice food for us to pickup.

Cons; Room keeping is the worst I've ever had in a four-star hotel. When we came back on the second night, there was not any new towel at all in the bathroom. When I called the service, they just transferred to one colleague by another. NOT SINGLE WORD OF SORRY. In the end, a cleaning woman knocked the door and gave me four towels. On the third night, something new blew my mind. The rubbish bin under the desk was not cleared. Looks exactly the same as what we left. This time, we were really tired and gave up making...
