Torro Grill — Restaurant in Tverskoy District

It used to be a great place, unfortunately no more. Our experienced were ruined from the first moment until the end. The hostess was unprofessional and very mean, I'm not even talking about that Hostess suppose to stand up when the guests come in. They were very lazy and were seating (3 girls) on one high chair and were great guests without any smile. When I came to Hostess to ask about the different table, one of the girls just gave me look and asked in a ”very polite way”: ”What?” I was completely disappointed, seems like I should tell her after that ”I’m sorry my queen to bothering you!” It was the beginning of the night. Next step was our experience at the table. The server approached the table without introducing her self, she asked right the way if we were ready to order. When we started to asked questions regarding menu, she was looking somewhere else but not at us and was explained the dish in a lazy. Where is the eye contact? At least pretend that you like your job, she looks like we were wisting her time. The epic situation was when we asked about how the dish prepare, she turned to the kitchen station, where they give the orders, took someone else dish, and present to us how it will be served. Seriously??? You can't describe grilles shrimps with lemon on the side??? I'm sorry but this is ridiculous. It means that the server doesn't know the menu, doesn't know the ingredients, what about the guests with allergies, and not able to describe the food. When we order a bottle of wine, she presented the bottle and told that she is going to open the bottle ”over there because it's easier to open it”, again ”What???” you not able to open the bottle of wine infront of the guests because you don't know how to do it? What about service steps? Did she even know about it? Unbelievable. So she placed the bottle on the countertop and tried to open the bottle, then her college started to help her, they broke to a wine cork, but at the end, they opened this bottle. One of the worst experiences in my life. What happened is really hilarious I ordered a steak and I requested it to be well-done. The waiter told me that they prefer it to be medium well. I told her that I don’t eat red meat, only brown… so can you make it well-done or I order something else? She said it will be well-done!

After one hour of waiting, she brought it medium-well!!! I asked why? She said that the chef said it should be medium well, and I don’t understand how to eat… yes, with this rude answer… I said why you didn’t refuse to make it from the beginning?!! Несколько раз пытались попасть именно в Торро гриль, дабы поесть вкусного мяса. И начитавшись хвалебных отзывов, как это обычно бывает, ожидание не совпало с реальностью.

По-началу думали какой именно стейк заказать и казалось, к счастью у них в меню были сеты с различными видами. Мы выбрали один из таких сетов: стейк чураско, стейк острый мачете и стейк лонг-айленд с овощами гриль + 2 гарнира - молодая фасоль и авокадо гриль с киноа. Среди напитков мы выбрали мандариновый фреш.

Из плюсов: порадовало наличие необычных свежевыжатых соков как мандариновый, и конечно же сам вкус сока очень понравился. Хороши были и гарниры, но учитывайте то, что это будет обычный варенный киноа с половинкой тёплого авокадо сверху и обычная фасоль.

Ориентир меню в Торро именно на мясо, но мясо разочаровало больше всего.

Острый мечете был вкусным, но не сказать чтобы ах. Все остальные виды стейков были очень жёсткие с неудачной прожаркой и не имеющие никакого приятного вкуса. Мясо было застывшим почти сразу после подачи, кроме стейка мачете, который был тёплым.

Фотографии были сделаны тогда, когда мы уже вставали из-за стола и оплачивали счёт, поэтому как видно по фото, съели мы только гарниры, а мясо лишь пригубили и доедать не стали.

Кстати, овощи гриль, прилагаемые в мясу, тоже еле тянут на среднюю по вкусу еду. Хотя казалось, что такое блюдо сложно испортить, но персонал Торро это сделал.

Перейдём к обслуживанию и атмосфере в целом....к сожалению, ничего хорошего. Персонал конечно не грубит, но и хорошего впечатления не производят, работают как-то на отвали. А интерьер больше напоминает хорошую пивнушку, а не ресторан с лучшими стейками.

Счёт за все это, несъедобное добро, составил 6000 рублей, при том, что мы не заказывали дорогие стейки.

Вывод: невкусно и абсолютно не стоит своих денег.
