I was here in 2018, we sat at the bar, the food was great, I had shrimp in coconut sauce and peas rice if I remember clearly. However we went back to try something else and I got the fish burger, very tasty as well, it came with a sauce on the side that I was supposed to spread over the fish to complete the burger but I was skeptical since it looked like a mayo sauce, so I asked one of the servers to kindly find out what was in the sauce so I know whether to stay away from it or not. She came back and told us that the chef said not to eat it, he can't say what is in it. I felt so bad, I'm not a chef nor cook, I wasn't about to steal the recipe, I like to know what's in my food sometimes, especially trying dishes from different countries I'm sorry that the chef was so insecure about a little sauce, we didn't go back since but I would when I'm in SK again. Wonderful, clean and nicely designed restaurant in downtown Basseterre serving daily lunch specials. There is a full bar and the beers are nice and cold. On my visit, the options were Creole Fish or Spare Ribs. I chose the latter and they were fall off the bone tender and delicious. They were served with rice, a small undressed salad and steamed vegetables that had kept some crunch to them - yeah!! Service was fabulous: friendly, efficient and quick. It was my first time at this restaurant. I went there for lunch while on my lunch break. It was totally contrary to all of the positive rumors I heard. The food was very flavorful and I appreciated that very much, but the food literally took one hour to reach us.
