I had the pleasure of dining at San Marzano, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance enveloped us with its warm lighting and inviting decor.
The menu was a delightful journey through authentic Italian cuisine. We started with the Chicken Ceasar Salad, which was fresh and perfectly seasoned. For the main course, I opted for the Rocola Chicken Pizza, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy crust, rich tomato sauce, and fresh mozzarella that melted beautifully in my mouth coupled with the rich Buratta Spaghetti and thirst quenching Mojito.
The service was impeccable; servers were attentive, knowledgeable, and made great suggestions. Special thanks to Ian, Jeff, Zam and Belal for their commendable world class service.

Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavor from the perfectly cooked pasta to the rich sauces and fresh ingredients, and also their truffle pizza, everything was top-notch. Esp their Burrata Salad was so good. 🫶🏼

Read moreNewest restaurant in Laysen Valley! Cool ambiance and overall atmosphere, but limited seating. The food is average.
I had to put my name on a waitlist in person, as there was no option to call or reserve/waitlist online. Although they initially told me the wait would be 1.5 to 2 hours, which wasn’t a problem for me, and ended up waiting for less than an hour.
This is what we’ve tried:
• San Marzano Pizza: 7/10 – Good pizza with a crunchy crust. • Salmon: 7.5/10 – Cooked really well with a delicious sauce, though it may taste a bit fishy or salty for some. • Lasagna: 5/10 – Below average. It lacked flavor, mostly sauce with a few bits of meat with thin pasta slices. Very disappointing.
Overall: The ambiance is nice, but I wouldn’t come back as everything is average. I might return for the salmon if I’m working in Laysen Valley, but nothing...
