GOODHOOD — Restaurant in Makkah Region

This is the worst coffee shop I’ve entered in Jeddah, first I’d like speak about the employees working there.

At first after entering, we noticed that there were no employees in the shop, most of them were sitting outside vaping and smoking and talking to each other.

The long haired male employee that has a half bun, was ridiculously disrespectful to us, he made fun of our speech with his barista colleague, and told my friend that she was bothering him because my alarm was loud After that we went to sit down and we found that the bar table had a random laptop on it and it wasn’t accompanied by anyone, I asked the same barista if he knew who it belonged to and he said no and looked away. So I removed it from the table and put it somewhere else.

5 minutes later a girl shows up and she starts whining and asking about her computer, and I told her that I put it on another table, after that she rolled her eyes at me and said “I was sitting there.” This girl turned out to be the “boss” of the shop.

I can’t imagine any place being properly run if it’s lead by someone as disrespectful and socially inept as her and her colleagues.

It was made clear that previous customers have complained about the disrespect and the lack of social decency that these employees suffer from, but no action has been taken.

So whoever is in charge, i hope you know that your business is failing because of a couple disrespectful kids that you’re trusting with your money.

This cafe resembles its name very much. It’s very cozy and warm, the interior design of the cafe is very vibrant and colorful. Each area has a unique design style and a different seating style and vibe. The ground floor has seating with couches and chairs. The top floor is only chairs. The place is great for cozy gatherings, small talks, or even working as it is quite quiet. The sunlight shines at a perfect angle which makes every corner worth photographing. The top floor gives you a birds view of the place.

Their menu contains a wiiiiiide variety of hot and cold drinks. Coffee based and non-coffee. I chose to try the iced matcha 🍵 with coconut milk. It was tasty and sweet. At a different day I’ve tried their cold brew, and I can say that it’s one of the best cold brews I’ve tried. Quite a remarkable aftertaste. The bottle is nice and reusable.

As for the sandwiches, their sandwiches are proper and freshly made. The halloumi was good. The other one was the turkey sandwich with Emmental cheese and avocado. I preferred it over the previous one but both are great. The bread is soft and...

Discovering GOODHOOD , It was a happy accident. Honestly, We were surprised to found out that WOODEN CAFE was Permanently closed. And we landed to GOODHOOD, Why not? Loving the hype here. If you’re looking for instagramable then you are in the right place. The cafe well decorated the chairs are so quirky and colorful. I loved the idea of the chairs 🪑 mixed and unmatched and as well as the lighting fixtures are so adorable. Every corner surprises you . A perfect place to spend with friends. We ordered latte ☕️ Coffee is good. And cookies 🍪, brownies was ok but not into my liking thou. It was a little bit dry, soft 😊and for the price of 10.00 sar is still good 👍

Admiring the cafe’s paper cup is very artistic and playful designed. I can say that, I found my happy place in here. Worth the next visits.
