Review: 10/10 – A Culinary Gem at Shiro
Dining at Shiro was an unforgettable experience that exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the perfect tone elegant, warm, and authentically Japanese. But it was the food that truly stole the show.
The salmon sashimi was nothing short of sublime. Each slice was silky, buttery, and impossibly fresh practically melting on the tongue. It was a masterclass in simplicity and precision. Equally impressive was the beef striploin: tender, perfectly cooked, and bursting with flavor. It had a rich umami depth that lingered beautifully with every bite.
But the surprise star of the evening was the beef teriyaki salad. It struck a perfect balance between sweet and savory, with crisp greens and succulent beef dancing in harmony. It’s rare for a salad to leave such a lasting impression, but this one absolutely did.
Service was impeccable attentive yet unobtrusive and each dish arrived with flawless presentation. Shiro delivers not just a meal, but a full sensory experience that’s both refined and deeply satisfying.
And not forget to order the Mochi ice (L)

I called for reservations but the host told me they dont take reservations i only need to come .. but when i came and i was put in the waiting list the host told me you could have reserved ! Which is what i originally wanted so i dont wait and i explained to her why when i called no one guided me to the online reservations??? any way she apologized and seated me quickly and did not wait much.
Regarding the food .. i ordered teriyaki salad which was very yummmmmy! And i also ordered shiro special California and the sunshine rolls and the volcano rolls and the dragon eye fry The best for me was the sunshine and volcano rolls they were super delicious.. for my taste The fried sushi was not the best.
The waiter was super nice and helpful, he came when needed and gave nice gesture and tips and was smiling and kind even though it was a full house and busy

Read morefood was below average. the crab salad didn’t even resemble a typical crab salad. the spicy edamame was plain with a little bit of chilli powder sprinkled on it not even salted. the 4 different sushi rolls we ordered were bland and flavorless. my friend even ended up spitting out a roll. not a single roll stood out they were repetitive and the crunchy things on top were overused throughout all the dishes. the passion fruit mojitos taste like sprite. the only things that were decent were the salmon sashimi and dynamite shrimp even so i wouldn’t go as far as saying they were good. moving on from the food, the temperature was not good. there was no air conditioning at our table, the music was all over the place, and they served my friends and i plastic utensils while the nearby tables all had silverware. nevertheless, the waiters and staff were very friendly and...
