Ah, what a culinary experience we had! The food, a symphony of mediocrity, only found its crescendo in the shrimp soup and tabouleh, which—miraculously—rose above the dismal average. As for the Tarabani fish, it was subjected to an outrageous amount of red-spiced sauce, obliterating any hope of savoring its naturally succulent flavor. One would think that such a precious fish, known for its juicy essence, would be treated with a modicum of respect, rather than being smothered in an overpowering cloak of spices. It’s almost commendable how they managed to disguise the taste of what might have been a delightful, fresh catch, with such an assault on the palate.
Then we have the lobster, a tragedy in its own right—overgrilled to the point of desiccation, and to add insult to injury, we were deprived of the lemon butter sauce we so desperately requested.
The staff? Oh, they were far too engrossed in their own little world to notice our repeated pleas for assistance, as they mingled joyously amongst themselves, blissfully unaware of their customers' needs.
And let’s not forget the soup spoon, which seemed to have been crafted for a circus act—bent at an awkward angle, making sipping the soup a delightful challenge.
Just when we thought we might indulge in dessert, the staff wheeled out a cart that could only be described as an olfactory disaster. With two garbage containers flanking it, the cart was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to hygiene—or lack thereof. One might wonder if lids on those containers could have spared us the odor wafting towards our eager appetites.
Lastly, a note for the management: perhaps it's time to tend to that electric junction box? A little maintenance could go a long way in preventing potential short circuits or...

This is my second time at this restaurant, and my Girlfriend and I were served by Mr Sonu & Mr Anso & Mr Abin First off, recalling my previous visit and this visit, the service has been nothing short of amazing and professional. We arrived and was quickly escorted to our seating area which we deeply appreciated was a relatively private/intimate seating area. I made this reservation to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, but NEVER REQUESTED for a specific seating area, so thank you very much for the initiative! ;)
Since it was awhile that I last dined at Al Sayed Restaurant I figured to ask for some recommendations, of which Tajine Spinach & Curry was very helpful and humorous while attending to us! P.S. the Fish Grill & Fry is AMAZING. Don’t miss it Hareed Fish Grill & Najil fry Which I choose around 1kg it was so fresh, really great for sharing in medium rare and was just blown away by its so nicely cook and just melts in your mouth. And to top it off, this was the exact standard I recalled when I first came, so kudos to Al Sayed and their team for maintaining an extremely high professional standard in their service and food quality!
Lastly, although while making the reservation, I did mention it was for my girlfriend birthday, I had no idea they’d surprise us with a decorated Cheese Kunafa that came with fresh cut fruits on the side! Al sayed team was very kind to help us take a photo and always check in on us if we were hopely enjoying the food.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and keep it up!

Read moreWe had an amazing dinner at this seafood restaurant, and every aspect of the experience exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and well-organized. There is a spacious underground parking area, which also includes a prayer room—very convenient. Inside the restaurant, they provide clean and comfortable restroom facilities for both men and women, as well as a dedicated prayer space for sisters, which we truly appreciated.
The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant and welcoming, with beautiful interior design and a modern, upscale feel. As soon as we were seated, we were warmly welcomed with traditional Arabic coffee and dates—a thoughtful and authentic gesture that set the tone for the rest of the evening.
The seafood display was impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh fish and shellfish on ice, which guests can personally select. We especially enjoyed the grilled seabass and shrimp—perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The trio of rice and the accompanying dishes were all flavorful and satisfying, and everything was beautifully presented.
The service was attentive and efficient, with our food arriving promptly and prepared just right. It’s clear that quality, hospitality, and guest comfort are a top priority here.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable seafood dining experience in a refined setting....
