Shrimp Anatomy — Restaurant in Makkah Region

One of the best restaurants ever! Very delicious and tasty shrimps, crabs and mussels. Absolutely fantastic. We ordered shrimps with anatomy sauce, it was very good (8/10). Crab with cajun sauce was really something, I recommend this dish for anyone who likes crab (9/10) Mussels with lemon pepper sauce was also great and full of flavor (8/10). The way the food is served is very nice and untraditional, its serves inside the bags it was cooked in, which keeps it full of taste until the last bite. They provide you with aprons and gloves to make sure that you will totally live the experience and without worrying about your clothes cleanliness 😉. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is always a wait there, so you should consider a total of 2 hours+ for waiting and eating. In general 1 order will not be enough. At least you should order 2. The prices ranges between 60 to 65 SAR for shrimps, crab and mussels. For lobster it is 130 SAR. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and we had 3 shrimps serves, 2 crab, 1 mussels, 1 fries, 1 wedges, 1 shrimps basket, 1 kids meal + soft drinks. The total bill was 520 SAR. and honestly no one felt full! Shrimp anatomy is a sea food restaurant that also serves chicken strips!! It offers a shy assortment of seafood mains in a plastic bag drowned in the sauce of your choice off the menu, they also serve fried sides if you fancy fried not grilled. Is the overall menu rich? Not really. For a seafood restaurant they are a bit shy on the cooking style but it could be that they want to focus on an Arabian method of cooking simple fry or grill. The portions are decent for a single person and the taste is good. Their offering of sauces with the fried dishes could be vastly improved and drinks could use an uplift/ expansion. The restaurant location poses a challenge when looking for a parking spot, especially during peak hours, the waiting time can be a turn off as it would get very busy. As for ambiance I’m not sure why they opted for dim lighting, it’s not a cosy cafe nor is it a fancy bistro that caters for couples. The price range is within upper average rate of similar restaurants. Over all it’s a nice experience, yet the service can be better. Price 3/5 " considering the amounts vs. price i say they should work on it, specially if they want regular returning customers because Our order totalled to SAR 385/4 = 96/person. Now 96 riyals per person is not cheap for one bag of shrimp, a bowl of rice and a sharable plate. The suitable price in my opinion should be after VAT is 70 per person if the person is ordering 1 bag of shrimp with a bowl of rice and a side considering the food is probably frozen and it is already precooked
