I had the pleasure of dining at a Chinese hot pot restaurant in Riyadh, and the experience was nothing short of delightful.

Today I visited Hot Pot restaurant in Riyadh and overall, the experience was quite good in terms of food and service. The variety and quality of the dishes were excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

However, there were a few issues that disrupted my visit. Firstly, the prices listed on the menu did not include VAT, which is a breach of Saudi government regulations. This was quite disappointing, especially given that the prices were already high and not particularly reasonable. Additionally, the lack of a smoke exhaust fan above the table made the dining experience less comfortable, as the smoke from the hot pot could become overwhelming.

Another significant issue was the menu itself. It was jumbled, not easy to navigate, and looked terrible, making it difficult to place an order efficiently.

To address the issue with the bill, I tried to call the manager, but unfortunately, he did not pick up the call.

While the food and service were great, these issues need to be addressed to provide a more enjoyable and compliant...

Perhaps there is not much options as I knew to have this Hot Pot places in the city. Coming back here during Ramadhan month with another friends and of course with my wife and daughter, the Chinese manager Ismail which we knew before wasn’t there anymore as he always welcoming and invite us when they’re just open a few months ago last year, the host and the server are completely new face to us. The quality of the food I can say is pretty good regardless the location and of course the price which is a bit overpriced consider the city are just developed.
