Very shocked by the low-rated reviews! I just finished trying the (1) Labneh and zataar (2) Danish berry (3) Goat cheese and strawberry croissant (4) Almond croissant (5) and plain croissant and honestly.. it is one of the few places that sells delicious and soft croissants. I would come back a thousand times if I was ever in dire need of a croissant. Yes, it is a tad-bit overpriced, but it is worth every riyal.
The goat cheese and strawberries:- The goat cheese was overpowered by the strawberry, but it was still very delicious. The strawberries were fresh and flavorful and not overly sweet.
The almond croissant:- Tasted just like how an almond croissant would taste, but what made it special was how soft and not too sweet it was. This was a common note in this place. Things were sweet but not overly sweet where you feel nauseous!
Zataar and Labneh croissant:- The zataar wasn’t cheap and the labneh was very creamy! Loved it!
The danish berry:- Very very good! And not overly sweet!!
Plain croissant:- Very soft!!
My overall general note is that the dough is soft and the things that were supposedly sweet weren’t overloaded with sugar.
Coffee tasted like the other cafes, but it wasn’t bad! So, you could easily grab a croissant and coffee on your way!
Would come back again...
Read more•The Mini Cake Box was I expected! Fresh, rich with flavor and each piece was unique! The only thing that makes me think twice before trying it again is the price.
•The Goat Cheese and Strawberry Croissant, the croissant itself has a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The filling is generously distributed throughout the croissant, which ensures that every bite contains a perfect balance of flavors. The goat cheese and strawberry combination is a perfect match. If you're a fan of sweet and savory combinations in your breakfast or snack items, then it is highly recommended!
•The Croi Cinnamon Bun, the combination of the cinnamon and chocolate and the caramel sauce with the pecan nuts is great!
•The Mille Feuille Mousse Chocolate and •Berry Mille Feuille was generously stuffed, wish they reconsider the price and have them in smaller size.
•The Berry Mascarpone Danish and •Croi Praline, in short, are must try! Definitely coming back for them!
Overall, lovely ambience, excellent service, friendly staff, variety of choices and amazing packaging! It is pricey but worth the try at least once!
Except the mini cake, all of the pastries need to be eaten as soon as possible to enjoy and relish the freshness...
Read moreI recently visited Croi Bakery in Riyadh, and I must say, it was an exquisite experience. The Vineroise they offered was a delightful treat, and their brownie with dulcet chocolate and millefeuilles were simply divine. The inviting and fresh atmosphere set the perfect backdrop for what was to come.
The standout item for me was their croissant. It was crunchy on the outside with a light, buttery layered core that practically melted in my mouth. This was, without a doubt, the best croissant I've had from a local bakery in Riyadh.
What impressed me the most was the impeccable taste, textures, and quality of all the items I ordered. The viennoiseries had a crisp and flaky texture, and their flavors were perfectly balanced – not overly sweet, nor bland. Every bite was a delightful combination of components that left me craving for more.
I also noticed that Croi Bakery uses Valrhona chocolate, which is renowned for its quality. It's a testament to their commitment to offering great-tasting pastries.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone looking for a delightful bakery experience in Riyadh. Croi Bakery truly stands out for its exceptional pastries, and I can't wait to...
