We arrived at the restaurant between 11:55 PM and 12:00 AM, and to our surprise, there was no one at the entrance to greet or assist us in choosing a table, despite the restaurant being mostly empty (only 4-5 tables were occupied). We seated ourselves and waited for about 10 minutes before someone finally noticed us and took our order. During this time, there was no communication regarding closing time or any restrictions.

The order was taken around 12:12–12:15 AM, and the food arrived at 12:30–12:35 AM. We began eating, expecting to enjoy our time like any other guest. However, at approximately 12:40–12:45 AM, an employee named Sultan approached us, not to check if we needed anything, but to inform us that the restaurant was closed — in a manner that implied we should rush to finish our meal and leave.

We found this behavior extremely disrespectful. Instead of offering a courteous reminder or assistance, he returned again around 12:50 AM, reiterating that the restaurant was closed and adding that he was only still there because of us, even though we had just begun eating.

When we finished our food by 12:58 AM and prepared to leave, visibly upset, Sultan further escalated the situation by blaming us, stating that we entered incorrectly and ignored staff (despite no one being at the door), and that we should have somehow known that the entire restaurant closes at 12:30 AM — a fact that was never communicated to us. In fact, when we ordered, the only thing mentioned by the manager was that the kitchen would be closing in few minutes.

Despite all this, Sultan never offered an apology for the poor communication or his unprofessional behavior. Instead, he was defensive and dismissive, attempting to shift the blame onto us — loyal customers who have visited your establishment many times in the past.

This experience was incredibly disappointing and left us feeling unwelcome and disrespected. While the manager did apologize, Sultan’s attitude completely overshadowed the effort. I hope this matter is taken seriously, and that steps are taken to ensure no other guest is treated in this manner again.
