I came with my wife. We had a lovely time in Friday brunch, the food was good the service was OK, the atmosphere is friendly, there are many children running around.
Then we wanted to listen to the live music so we turned the chairs opposite the table in an organized and quite way, looking directly into the musition, which is a usual thing to do in such a cozy atmosphere. The Egyptian manager came to us, looked once, then went away, then came back again, angry and nervous, asking us to adjust the chairs and telling us this is a family atmosphere and have the chairs in an opposite side is not acceptable people would understand in wrong way!
I told him that we are a family, and he said that it doesn't matter. People will think in a bad way to adjust the chairs or leave and raise his voice, I was quiet and asked my wife to leave. We left while he was still talking in a shifty way.
Never again to visit this place because of the stupid act of this Egyptian manager who doesn't know how to treat the customers.

Read moreIshmael and all the staff were helpful to cater to requests/orders, the dishes from the buffet that I liked most for lunch was the chicken shawarma, the braised lamb dishes (style might defer daily, some cuisines are better than others), together with the rice slow cooked with lamb fat, on some days, the cake and the ice cream were nice.
The the sunny side ups sandwiched in peta bread with some mayonnaise sauce were only served during breakfast, the hash browns and croissants/pastries, top it up with a bowl of lentil soup.
As for the BBQ dinner(only available on certain nights), the lamb chops were juicy and salted nicely most of the time, paired with the white sauce/carbonara spaghetti was a nice combo.
Other than that, there were salad bar, fruits bar throughout the buffet sessions.
Thank you Levantine Restaurant's staff for the hospitality...
Read moreWe had a business Iftar here and it was a great success in the first place because of the great service of manager Mr Emad and all his team members. Secondly, the place has a beautiful terrace that allows a great and fancy set-up for business dinners offering comfortable space to walk to the buffet that was set up inside and one outside to avoid queing. The decoration and Ramadan vibe was beautiful and elegant.
The food was tasty and they had several coffee stations. A bonus is that Double Tree Financial District in which this restaurant is located is easily accessible from the highway and also there is a big open parking space few meters from the hotel. If you are looking for a group venue for a business lunch or dinner Levantine is absolutely the right place.
Thank you Mr Emad and team and thank you Double Tree for creating...
