PAUL - best coffee shop we have been from 2008 ahead of years to come. From middle East from Dubai - UAE almost all branches inside malls and across city of Saudi Arabia. I was surprised for the customer service service we have not encounter from all years of dining in with Paul - Riyadh Park Paul branch.
Four guest joining us and ask the waiter, politely to clean the table front of us, for a table for 4 person been ignore that sooner been taken by other guest. We managed to just arranged our own 6 seater. And soon noticed we got managed by ourselves with our guests. The shocking part - when the juice ordered was delivered to the table with straw thrown by the waitress that took our attention😔 and then approached the one in the counter and raised the act. No one came to apologise even to our guest and even WhY? Is it the way how to serve? What would you feel if your a loyal custumer of PAUL and got your guest joining you and got this service, for as well a decades working in hospitality and customers service would feel.?

Read moreAfter two visits I've concluded that this is the worst Paul Branch I've been to. for a number of reasons.
1- understaffed and overworked. the staff aren't that friendly especially the supervisor and they aren't doing a good job (see reason #2) we stood near the entrance for a while and nobody came to greet us and show us our table we had to seat ourselves.
2- hygiene. we found an empty table (#1) and it was dirty one of the waiter eventually came to wipe it down but he missed a very greasy spot and we tried to call him back and he ignored us. he came after a bit to take our order. when our drinks arrived one of the glasses was sticky and gross.
3- inconsistencies. in our first visit when the bread basket arrived we asked if we could have white bread as well as the brown bread (50/50) the waiter said ok and did what we asked. but in our second visit we asked the same request while another waiter was taking our order and said that it was impossible. he insisted that if we wanted white bread, we needed to purchase some.
so either the first waiter was negligent and didn't care or it wasn't a big deal in the first place and the second...
