Al Mamlaka Social Dining — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

i was very intrigued to visit this place but today i was shocked about the experience, any good restaurant can get busy and overcrowded but only good restaurants can manage that which what they couldn’t do at all.

i came around 10PM i was told by the security or staff that was standing outside the door by like maybe 15-20m to wait for one hour and i said its fine im not in a hurry so what an hour will do ? an hour came by and its now 11PM and the same guy told me to wait for another 15 minutes and we started to get worried because it says here on google that it closes at 1AM so we asked him just to be sure about the timing so he replied we will be open for another hour because of how busy the place is tonight (btw it didnt happen why would you lie about that) then another guy came and said it will be 30 minutes???

i waited for couple more minutes as i said before im not in a hurry, i started to get frustrated and came to one of the staff members, so i asked him politely if i can sign my name anywhere or if theres a waiting list just to make sure i got my name in a list or whatever, the rude guy just stood there and ignored me… wow how professional.

if i didnt mention before i was in a group of 3 so at the same time that happened my other 2 friends got inside while i was talking with the first rude guy (yes the first one there’s more to come) without me knowing in the other entrance and came to my side and asked the staff (not the same person) very politely to make way for me, the staff responded very rudely and unprofessionally which made my friend get frustrated ( staff wanted to say that this is an exit and he doesn’t care if we were a one group ) ok you couldve just said that politely and end everything in peace and not get rude and make rude stares and unprofessional replies.

i saw that happen and said to myself to go to the entrance in the other side and talked to the third staff politely that my group is inside and i want to catch up, yes just like what you expected, three for three all of them were rude and very unprofessional he replied in a rude way trying to embarrass me in front of the people by saying loudly; you want me to let you enter and let you skip the queue ? i replied very politely that if thats the case its fine ill wait which what happened and for my surprise it wasnt a queue at all they just let a bunch go in without any priority like first come first served ( they could have told everyone that this is how they manage queues and make everything better rather than make every customer feel clueless and they wasted there time).

i finally entered and inside was a different vibe, staff inside were totally fine and even one of them gave me an item that i lost before even noticing that i missed it.

in conclusion the restaurant it self is alright but the staff outside who try to organize and manage queues dont know anything about organizing queues and have ZERO social skills and don’t know how to respect their customers as they must have.
