From the world renowned 3 star Michelin chef Daniel Boulud (his elegant flagship French restaurant Daniel is a must if in New York). Cafe Boulud is in Riyadh’s Four Seasons Hotel with one of the entrance accessible from outside. Ambiance is warm and modern. Menu had a variety of non-run of the mill selection. Started off with a refreshing Zen Tonic which was a nice spin on Gin & Tonic. Great charcuterie selection (finally non-pork!). You have a choice of 3 (100g) or 6 (150g). We wanted to try 6 but were afraid we would get full so the chef was kind enough to make a selection of 6 in 100grams. Also great cheese and non-alcoholic wine selection (largest I’ve seen in KSA). Foie gras was good but brioche not airy or sweet enough. Shrimp appetizer concept in lettuce pouch was good but breading was “off.” Veal chop very good (and white!) but a bit dry. Duck was perfect with fresh non-typical veggie. The Vasherin dessert was absolutely AMAZING with an incredible lemon sauce. A must! Note: Cafe Boulud’s at other locations have their famous burger. This branch also does, but there were other choices we couldn’t pass up; maybe for lunch. Service was friendly but a bit slow maybe due to new/inexperienced staff. Definitely planning on going back and would also like to try just having charcuterie, cheese,...

I had the pleasure of dining at Café Boulud at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Ian, the receptionist, whose impeccable manners and outstanding service truly set the tone for the evening.

Ian went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of my visit was perfect. His genuine warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism were evident in every interaction. It’s rare to come across someone who embodies hospitality in such a graceful and natural way.

The ambiance of Café Boulud was both elegant and welcoming, perfectly complementing the exquisite dishes that were as delightful to the palate as they were beautifully presented. The combination of stellar service, a refined atmosphere, and extraordinary cuisine made my visit an unforgettable experience.

A heartfelt thank you to Ian and the entire team at Café Boulud for making my evening so special. I look forward to returning soon and highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking an unparalleled dining...

Enjoyed breakfast at Cafe Boulud three times this week. Overall a really nice experience. The cafe itself is inside the Four Seasons, just off the lobby. There’s a sort of wine (non-alcoholic) and cheese cave, a couple of dining rooms and a conservatory. The atmosphere is elegant, the tables are well spaced and the staff are all very efficient and polite. Nice selection of hot breakfasts - tried the American classic, steak and eggs; the countryside breakfast with eggs and veal bacon and the eggs Benedict with veal bacon. All gorgeous and really well cooked. The eggs were the standout. Such eggs. Plump and juicy runny yolks cooked to perfection. Quality eggs too, rich and full of flavour. Lovely. Elsewhere, the pancakes looked good, with a generous whip of chantilly atop a tottering stack. The staff occasionally offer complimentary canapés - the arancini were particularly excellent. Didn’t get a chance to eat dinner here but certainly would, I’m sure it’d be good.

Tried out the much anticipated Cafe Boulud - turned out to be quite the disappointment. • The interior was very pleasant and welcoming - nice and bright terrace seating area. If only the food was as good as the decoration. • Came with a group, so we ended up almost trying the entire business lunch menu (bluefin tuna, thai salad, mushroom pasta, sea bass, steak et frites, frenchie burger, and others) and some of the main menu items. No single dish stood out. Almost everything felt below expectation. • Dessert was slightly better - tried the lemon tart and chocolate cake. • Service was also fairly slow for a place where it was only us with two other tables. • Also kitchen ventilation was not working properly, all the smoke and odors from the kitchen were coming to our table. • Overall not an experience to be repeated 3/10
